For joining as on Assistant Superintendent Of Police (ASP):- You have to compete with is the best of the telented young persons in the country appearing for an examinations conducted annually by union public service commission (UPSC).
For joining as Dy Superintendent Of Police:- You have to apply to Maharashtra Public Service Commission in response to the advertisement issused by them . Dy Superintendents Of Police (DY.S.P.) are gazetted officers and have excellent career prospects in the police service.
For joining as Maharashtra Police Sub Inspector:- You have to apply to Maharashtra Public Service Commission in responces to the advertisement issused by them.
ELIGIBILITY : Graduation in any discipline
AGE : 28 upto years (Relaxation in age upto 32 years for reserved categorie)
EXAMINATION PATTERN : Priliminary and main examinations are conducted. Successful candidates are called for interview.
TRAINING : Successful candidates have to undergo 11 month training at Maharashtra Police Academy, Nashik.
For joining as Maharashtra Police Constable:- You have to apply to Maharaashtra Public Service Commission in responces to the advertisement issused by the maharashtra police department.
ELIGIBILITY : 12th passed (H.S.C.)
AGE : 25 upto years, Relaxation 32 years reserved categorie)
HEIGHT: For Gentlemen 165 cms & for Woman 161 cms
CHEST: For Gentlemen 79 - 84 cms
EXAMINATION PATTERN : It is a combination of several physical tests followed by a written examination and interview.
TRAINING : Successful candidates have undergo 9 month training at once police training schools in maharashtra.
